Description

At Light The Night, we gather as a community to celebrate, honor, and remember those touched by cancer. Friends, families, schools, corporate teams, and sponsors join together to bring light to the darkness of cancer. The funds raised by this community fund lifesaving research, advocacy and support for blood cancer patients and their families.

Volunteer Roles:

We have a variety of tented areas throughout the walk site that require coverage throughout the walk experience.

8 volunteers will be needed across 4 tented areas (2 people each) from 4:30-9pm

10 volunteers will be needed to support clean up at the conclusion of the walk from 8:30-9:30.

Event Location: Delaware Park- closest to Nichols School and behind the Buffalo Zoo, Corner of Colvin Ave. and Amherst Ave, Buffalo, NY 14214

Parking Logistics: Please use street parking. Nichols School has an event the night of Light The Night and we are NOT able to use their lot this year.

Event Festivities: 5:30-8:30pm

Opening Ceremony/Walk: 7:30pm
