    Description

Gardening - Sundays and Thursday Mornings

The historic Jay Estate is a public park and educational center that spans 23 acres! Volunteers are needed to help keep our grounds healthy and looking beautiful by removing weeds and invasive plants. Join our Garden Volunteer Committee and help maintain our award-winning Jay Estate Gardens.

Learn the difference between native and invasive species. Help plant herbs and vegetables in our gardens and assist with harvest. Work alongside our knowledgeable Horticultural Director Lucia Maestro and other volunteers; participate in ongoing workshops. Great way to earn community service hours or give back to the community. Garden experience ideal but not required - we'll train you! Garden volunteers receive a special newsletter.
