Description
The Academic Mentors Project connects high-achieving students with volunteer mentors who can offer guidance and real-world insight into career paths they are excited to explore.
We are currently seeking a software professional to guide a high school student through a very simple game design project. The student has extensive experience with Scratch and would now like to try coding a simple game.
Mentors typically spend about six hours total with their student, spread across three to six sessions, in addition to an initial introductory meeting. Families provide all transportation, and scheduling is very flexible.
