    Description

AdventHealth Hospice serves patients in Volusia and Flagler counties. We are looking for dedicated volunteers who are willing to sit with patients in their last hours when they would otherwise be alone. This special subset of volunteers sits with patients who are in nursing homes and have no family near or whose family is unable to be there. We want our patients to know that someone is there with them and they are not alone. If you feel called to this sacred role please reach out.

Are you a night owl? We also need volunteers who can do this during the night hours so we can support the patient as much as possible.

Assignments are by request and based on your availability. Volunteers are required to go through training and background checks. All onboarding requirements are provided free of charge and we work with your schedule to complete them.
