ChiEAC Social Impact Fellows: Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, and Marketing Fellowship Opportunity for Students and Recent Graduates (REMOTE)

The Chicago Education Advocacy Cooperative (ChiEAC) is seeking motivated students and recent graduates pursuing degrees in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing, and related fields for the ChiEAC Social Impact Fellowship.

This fully remote fellowship is designed to provide meaningful, hands-on professional experience while helping participants strengthen their resumes, expand their professional networks, and position themselves for long-term career opportunities in the United States and abroad. Fellows contribute directly to real-world operational, financial, marketing, and strategic initiatives connected to community impact projects across Chicago.

The fellowship requires a commitment of approximately 20–25 hours per week and is intentionally structured to align with CPT and OPT experiential learning objectives for international students and recent graduates seeking career-connected professional development opportunities. Participants gain applied experience in business operations, analytics, communications, financial systems, project coordination, and organizational strategy while working alongside interdisciplinary teams on measurable deliverables.

    Fellows may contribute to:

    • Financial analysis and operational reporting
    • Marketing campaigns and digital outreach
    • Strategic planning and business development
    • Fundraising and donor engagement initiatives
    • Community-centered consulting projects
    • Performance metrics and organizational analytics
    • Workflow optimization and process improvement
    • Social enterprise and innovation initiatives

A major goal of the fellowship is career mobility. Through portfolio-building projects, mentorship, networking, and applied professional experience, fellows are positioned to transition into paid opportunities within approximately 3–6 months. Many participants use the experience to strengthen their candidacy for corporate, nonprofit, startup, consulting, and analytics-focused positions.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates seeking:

    • Fully remote professional experience
    • Career-aligned CPT/OPT engagement
    • Practical business and leadership experience
    • Real projects with measurable impact
    • Resume and LinkedIn enhancement
    • Mentorship and networking opportunities
    • Pathways toward paid professional roles

ChiEAC values innovation, collaboration, emotional intelligence, and mission-driven leadership. Fellows are encouraged to bring creativity, initiative, and professional curiosity into every aspect of the experience.
