About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and patient volunteer to provide companionship and engagement for an adult participant who is adjusting to a recent transition from independent living to a shared care setting.

This individual enjoys staying active and creative and would benefit from meaningful social interaction and supportive companionship.

Volunteer Activities May Include:

• Social visits and friendly conversation
• Engaging in games or light recreational activities
• Supporting creative interests such as nail care or simple self-care activities
• Assisting with structured activities alongside staff guidance
• Providing emotional support and companionship during adjustment

Ideal Volunteer:

• Warm, patient, and empathetic
• Comfortable supporting someone with changing moods
• Enjoys one-on-one interaction
• Interest in creative or social activities is a plus
