About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and patient volunteer to provide companionship and engagement for an adult participant who is adjusting to a recent transition from independent living to a shared care setting.
This individual enjoys staying active and creative and would benefit from meaningful social interaction and supportive companionship.
Volunteer Activities May Include:
- Social visits and friendly conversation
- Engaging in games or light recreational activities
- Supporting creative interests such as nail care or simple self-care activities
- Assisting with structured activities alongside staff guidance
- Providing emotional support and companionship during adjustment
Ideal Volunteer:
- Warm, patient, and empathetic
- Comfortable supporting someone with changing moods
- Enjoys one-on-one interaction
- Interest in creative or social activities is a plus
Additional Information:
