    Description

🦃 The Salvation Army: Can-U-Care Thanksgiving Drive (Community Service Hours Available!)

Volunteer with Can U Care Thanksgiving 2026! 🦃🥫

Help make Thanksgiving possible for families throughout our community by volunteering with The Salvation Army's annual Can U Care Thanksgiving Program.

Each year, generous donors provide food that allows families to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal together. Volunteers are an essential part of this effort, helping prepare food boxes before distribution and assisting families on distribution day.

    Volunteer Opportunities

    Volunteers may assist with:

    • Sorting and organizing donated food items
    • Packing and staging Thanksgiving food boxes
    • Preparing the distribution site
    • Assisting with family check in and traffic flow
    • Loading food boxes into vehicles
    • Supporting staff to ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming experience

Whether you're volunteering on your own, with friends, as part of a school organization, or with a community group, we'd love to have you join us!

Community service hours are available and can be verified for school, court ordered, military, or organizational requirements.
