    Description

    Do you enjoy manicures? - Become a Hospice Volunteer

    Nursing home patients and residents love to be pampered just like you! You don't have to be a nail polish expert - only someone who enjoys interacting with seniors. You will paint fingernails while sharing a little conversation and supportive listening.

    Patients receiving hospice care enjoy the friendship of volunteers. Volunteers can read to patients, hold their hands, listen to music, sing, watch TV, play games, share stories, or offer caregiver respite. Your companionship ensures that patients have quality at their end of life.

    Orientation is short and arranged to fit your schedule. We have flexible hours, will write letters of recommendation, and be a referral.

    With our flexible schedule, you can work as many hours as you are able/willing to volunteer.
