Thousands of school children are planning to visit the Philip Foster Farm this spring. But they won't be coming to see chickens. The Philip Foster Farm is a historical site on the Oregon Trail from the pioneer days.
Our program needs volunteers to demonstrate simple stations like corn grinding, or for the more historically minded, we have a couple of stations that we will train you to present historical information for either our 1860's house or store. Stations are short - only 10 minutes, so you're constantly getting a new group of kids coming. The whole tour lasts just under 2 hours.
Bring your family and/or friends and all volunteer together. We typically can use up to 8 volunteers on any given day.
Costumes are provided, but optional. :)
Whatever days you would be available to volunteer would be greatly appreciated.
