    Community Engagement Support Volunteers (Unpaid)

    Please Note: This is a U.S. based remote volunteer role. At this time, we are only able to consider applicants residing in the United States. Applications that do not meet this requirement may not be reviewed.

    Community Engagement Support Volunteers (Unpaid)

    Commitment: ~10 hours per week (U.S. based remote)

    Point of Contact: Marketing Director

    What You’ll Do

    • Assisting with research on potential community partners, foundations, or grant opportunities.
    • Supporting the preparation of outreach materials such as informational emails, presentations, or summaries.
    • Assisting with drafting or compiling sections of grant applications under leadership direction.
    • Gathering supporting materials (program descriptions, impact data, reports) for grant submissions.
    • Helping organize and maintain records of outreach contacts, grant deadlines, and follow-ups.
    • Assisting with scheduling meetings or coordinating communications alongside ACDC leadership.
    • Supporting community events, workshops, or informational sessions.
    • Providing ideas to improve outreach materials or communication processes.

    All external communications, funding decisions, and partnership commitments are conducted under the direction and approval of ACDC leadership.

    What We Look For

    You may be a great fit to support this mission if you have an interest or background in the following:

    • An Interest or experience in contributing to nonprofit outreach, grant research, or community communications.
    • Strong writing and organizational skills to help share ACDC’s mission with the public.
    • High attention to detail, particularly when assisting with organizational documentation and meeting community-driven deadlines.
    • The ability to follow project guidance and collaborate effectively with a distributed team in a flexible, remote setting.
    • Professional and respectful communication habits that align with ACDC’s community values.
