    Description

    Fidget Blankets

Hospice patients with dementia symptoms really benefit from having a fidget blanket.

A fidget blanket is a lap-size quilt (24x24) which provides sensory and tactile stimulation for the restless hands of someone with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia.

If you are interested there are many ideas out there on what could be on a fidget blanket. We could use several fidget blankets. If you have some time, doing what you enjoy, this would be a great way to brighten the day of a hospice patient who has dementia symptoms. Blankets can be picked up from you at a designated time. Your creation and time will provide such a blessing to a hospice patient.
