    Description

Run Lead - Do What You Love to End ALZ

Are you passionate about running, community engagement, and making a difference? The Alzheimer’s Association is looking for a Run Lead to help expand our presence at races across Tennessee through the Do What You Love to End ALZ program.

This is a unique opportunity to combine your love for running events with meaningful impact—helping us connect with new audiences, raise awareness, and grow our mission.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Identify and prospect running events (5Ks, half marathons, community races) across Tennessee
    • Coordinate volunteer teams for each race (minimum 4–5 volunteers per event)
    • Recruit, organize, and communicate with volunteers to ensure coverage at each event
    • Help secure the Alzheimer’s Association as an official charitable partner at races
    • Represent the mission and create a welcoming, engaging presence at events

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • A self-starter who enjoys outreach and building connections
    • Passion for community events, running, or fitness (no running required!)
    • Ability to coordinate volunteers and manage simple logistics

    Why This Role Matters:

By helping us show up at more races, you’re opening the door for new fundraisers, increasing awareness, and bringing us closer to a world without Alzheimer’s. Every race we attend is a chance to connect with individuals who can turn their passion into purpose.

Volunteer from anywhere in Tennessee with a flexible time commitment.

Ready to hit the ground running for a cause that matters? Let’s connect!
