Camp Quest North Counselor - Iowa

Spend a week volunteering as a camp counselor with kids ages 8-17 at a secular overnight summer camp!

While campers at Camp Quest North partake in traditional camp activities, such as field games, swimming, archery, crafts, and campfires, what sets Camp Quest North apart from traditional summer camps is our focus on humanist values and ethics. Our unique activities encourage rational inquiry, free speech, active citizenship, and respect. Camp Quest North envisions a world in which children grow up exploring, thinking for themselves, connecting with their communities, and acting to make the most of life for themselves and others.

Each year we have a theme - this year it is "Coding Unplugged", so we will have many themed activities related to coding!

Our Iowa week runs from August 1st through August 8th. Counselors need to be present the whole week, and sleep overnight in our cabins. Our cabins are gender inclusive, meaning campers are not sorted into cabins by gender.
