    Description

Help Shape the Next Chapter of Our Bookclub!

The Floating Freedom Bookclub is being relaunched as a program of Floating Freedom Foundation, and we're assembling a founding committee to help shape its future.

Those joining at this stage will play a significant role in defining the Bookclub's direction, developing its initiatives, establishing priorities, and building a sustainable, community-driven program from the ground up.

Committee members will also help lead fundraising efforts to support their goals. The Bookclub will have its own designated program account, allowing the committee to collaboratively propose, prioritize, and determine how funds are used to advance its initiatives, subject to the Foundation's financial oversight and policies.

This is an opportunity to do more than volunteer for an existing program. It's a chance to help build one, shape its direction, and decide what it can become.

    About the Opportunity

Books have always been more than words on a page. They have challenged ideas, preserved histories, sparked movements, and brought communities together.

The Floating Freedom Foundation is building a grassroots, community-driven Bookclub centered on literacy, access, and meaningful conversation. We're looking for passionate, curious, and community-minded volunteers to join our Founding Bookclub Committee and help shape this initiative from the ground up.

You don't need to be a librarian, educator, or literary expert. Whether you're an avid reader, an occasional bookworm, or simply someone who believes books should be accessible to everyone, there's a place for you at our table.
