    Description

    Companion and Driver for Older Adults

    Are you 18 or older with a caring, kind, and patient nature? We're looking for compassionate individuals to volunteer with Neighborhood Companions Inc., which provides transportation and companionship to older adults in our community.

    As a volunteer, you'll play a vital role in helping seniors stay connected and engaged. Your duties will include driving them to appointments, social events, and errands, as well as offering companionship and support.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide safe and reliable transportation for older adults.
    • Offer friendly companionship and engage in meaningful conversations.
    • Assist with light tasks as needed during outings.

    Requirements:

    • Must be 18 years or older.
    • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Patience, kindness, and a genuine desire to help others.

    Time Commitment:

    • Flexible hours to fit your schedule.
