    We are looking for volunteer essay readers to help select scholarship winners.

    PLUS ME Project is awarding five $1,000 scholarships to high school students in Southern California!

    The My Story Matters Scholarship: LISTEN was created to encourage youth to write and share their personal narratives. Applicants will submit their personal story, written using PLUS ME guidelines.

    Volunteers will receive a rubric and scoring guide, and will be asked to attend a brief onboarding session on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. PST.
