    Description

SC: Berkeley County - Drive cancer patients to and from treatment

Help cancer patients get to life-saving treatment.

As a Road To Recovery volunteer driver with the American Cancer Society, you’ll use your personal vehicle to provide free rides for cancer patients who have no other way to get to their appointments.

Most rides are Monday–Friday during the day. You choose the rides that fit your schedule, with a suggested minimum of 2 rides per month.

    Volunteer drivers must:

      • Be age 18–84
      • Have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
      • Use a reliable, insured vehicle
      • Pass background and motor vehicle records checks
      • Complete online training and use our online ride scheduling tool
