Description
- Support Veteran hospice patients and their families in their home or a nursing home.
- Visit, play cards, read to the patient, etc.
- Allow the family to leave the home for a few hours to get a break from the caregiving environment and recharge
- The geographic area you cover is completely up to you - stay near home or travel farther
- Shifts are flexible around your schedule
- No medical background needed, just a caring heart
- You should have a friendly demeanor and compassion for others
- You should feel comfortable working independently, with guidance when needed
