    Individuals who are interested in volunteering as Showroom Assistants will be given an overview of Chicago Furniture Bank and our mission. Volunteers will be trained on our shopping experience and will work closely with CFB staff.

    Volunteer Opportunity: Showroom Assistant at Chicago Furniture Bank

    Are you passionate about making a difference? Do you have a positive attitude and a desire to provide outstanding service? If so, we’d love for you to join our team!

    At Chicago Furniture Bank, our showroom is where clients come to select the furniture they need to create a comfortable and dignified home. As a Showroom Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients through this important process, helping them make informed decisions, and ensuring they have a positive shopping experience.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Assist clients in viewing and selecting furniture.
    • Verify client and caseworker information.
    • Provide guidance and support throughout the selection process.
    • Ensure a positive and supportive shopping experience.

    When:

    • Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 4 PM.
    • Flexible shifts are available. Please check our volunteer calendar on our website for specific time slots.
