    Description

    Public Relations Specialist

    The Colt Catalina Foundation is a 501(c)(c) organization and works to prevent childhood drownings through education and survival swim lesson scholarships, ensuring every child, regardless of financial circumstance, has a chance to be safe around water.

    Role Description

    This is a remote volunteer role for a Public Relations Specialist. The role involves writing and distributing press releases, developing and executing strategic communication plans, managing media relations, and building positive public perceptions of the Colt Catalina Foundation. The Public Relations Specialist will work closely with the Founder to enhance the foundation's reputation and visibility.

    Qualifications

    • Proficiency in Press Releases and Public Relations
    • Strong Communication and Media Relations skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Get in contact with celebrities and influencers to partner with the organization
    • Experience in Strategic Communications
    • Able to help get in contact with celebrities and influencers to partner with the organization
