    Description

    Kitten Birthday Party Host Needed

Do you love spending time with kids and kittens? Do you love planning and attending parties!?!? We are looking for kind, patient volunteers with excellent people skills to help host birthday parties for children at our Adoption Center in Evanston.

Parties are an hour and forty five minutes and usually occur on Sundays. Volunteers will be responsible for overseeing the party alongside a staff member.

    This includes:

    • Overseeing children as they interact with kittens and ensuring everyone is gentle and follows the rules
    • Ensuring cats are comfortable and not getting stressed or overwhelmed
    • Leading a simple arts and crafts activity
    • Setting up decorations, tables, and chairs prior to party
    • Cleaning up utensils/trash and putting away decorations post party
    • Providing support throughout the party in other needed areas
