Description
All 8 of our shelters rely on volunteer groups to provide dinners each night of the year, and sack lunches/dinners are also a welcome treat! A team essentially "adopts" a shelter for a night, planning a menu, procuring food, cooking, and serving a full meal for all residents to the shelter (60-120 people). With 8 shelters to feed, there are openings frequently!
We can help you with menu ideas and advice for cooking for large groups. This is a great activity to do with your coworkers, family or friends. See the direct and immediate impact your support has on our participants!
Private Group Details:
- Group Size Range: 5 - 10
- Event can be held at a volunteer group location (e.g. office, park)
- Event can be held at organization location(s)

- Groups purchase all the food to serve 60-120 people (typically this costs about $200-300).
