Description
Tiny Cat Animal Rescue is seeking a Veterinary Coordinator to help manage veterinary partnerships and medical logistics. This role focuses on coordinating appointments, maintaining relationships with clinics, tracking medical schedules, and ensuring organized documentation of veterinary care.
The Veterinary Coordinator plays a key role in supporting cat welfare and helping the organization operate efficiently and responsibly.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate scheduling of spay/neuter surgeries and routine veterinary appointments
- Maintain communication with partner veterinary clinics
- Research and compile information on low-cost and rescue-friendly veterinary providers
- Track vaccination schedules, follow-up care, and medical timelines
- Maintain organized medical records and documentation
- Assist in identifying opportunities for discounted services or rescue partnerships
- Provide updates to the Director of Operations regarding veterinary capacity and needs
Ideal Qualities
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable communicating with veterinary offices
- Responsive and reliable
- Able to manage multiple cases and timelines simultaneously
- Calm and solution-oriented
- Experience in veterinary, animal rescue, or medical administration helpful but not required
Commitment
- Approximately 2–5 hours per week, flexible and largely remote. Occasional local coordination may be helpful but is not required.
