    Description

    Lead older adults in craft activities (varies)

    Do you enjoy arts and crafts?

    Share your love for the activity with older adults in a center.

    Help to assist with or host craft classes at one of our Centers. Older adults in the community attend these senior centers and are eager to enjoy art classes of all types. There are 4 locations throughout the city of Cleveland (Old Brooklyn; Bellaire-Puritas; North Collinwood and Buckeye-Shaker neighborhoods)

    Volunteers would help assist currently existing art classes or instructing classes of their own choice/design with coordination with center staff and the volunteer manager.

    Qualifications:

    • volunteers must be 18+,
    • able to pass an FBI/BCI background check,
    • complete orientation and training.
    • Ability to, stand, sit; talk, hear, reach, stoop, and kneel;
    • Light to moderate lifting is required, up to 25 pounds;

    Serve weekdays; on a flexible schedule.
