Volunteer--Opportunity to earn service hours

Are you a high school student eager to make a difference in the world? Do you have a passion for languages and cultural exchange? SpeechSphere is excited to announce openings for our 2025-2026 executive team! About Us:

SpeechSphere is a student-led, non-profit organization committed to breaking down language and cultural barriers. We offer free tutoring and conversational sessions in English, Chinese, Arabic, Italian, and Spanish, helping individuals adapt to new environments with confidence.

Here are some volunteer opportunities you can apply for:

1. Create slides (lesson plans) - Help us create learning plans, which typically include cultural and language content.
2. Tutor - become our tutor in your area of expertise! At SpeechSphere, you can join various language departments, and you are welcome to join multiple ones.
3. Social media - we need multiple volunteers to manage our social media accounts, such as SpeechSphere's accounts on TikTok, Instagram, Rednotes, and more. If you have relevant experience, please sign up!!!
4. Graphic Design--If you love art, also have experience with graphic design, please join us!

Leadership Open position:（Requirement--you must be bilingual(English being a mian one), be able to attend meetings, have What's app, and lead a group!）

• Secretary-Join meetings, takes attendance, writes notes for the meeting also emails people when we forget, etc.
• Head of Korean department-We need someone who is fluent in both Korean and English and willing to take on leadership responsibilities.
• Head of Hindi department-We need someone who is fluent in both Hindi and English and willing to take on leadership responsibilities.
• Student outreach-Help us find students, promptly respond to those interested in joining our program, and collaborate with the department chair to match students with suitable tutors.

We are currently accepting applications for leadership positions in each language department (including but not limited to the social media department, outreach department, Chinese department, Arabic department, etc.). Although the positions have already been filled, we are happy to put you on the waitlist. When the current leader is not performing well, you will immediately replace them! So become our volunteer first and let us see your abilities!
