Position Description
The Content and Marketing Department creates engaging and informative content across multiple platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Spotify, and other digital channels. The department also supports organizational events and contributes to marketing plan development. Content and Marketing collaborates closely with the Outreach and Graphic Design departments to ensure cohesive and effective messaging. Interns play a key role in developing marketing campaigns, supporting merchandise initiatives, and assisting with digital promotion efforts.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns and content strategies
- Generate creative ideas for digital content and promotional initiatives
- Support merchandise sales strategies and promotional planning
- Assist with social media management and digital outreach efforts
- Analyze campaign performance and engagement metrics to help optimize results
- Support marketing efforts related to events and organizational initiatives
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in marketing, content creation, or digital media
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with major social media platforms
Preferred Background
- Coursework or experience in marketing, communications, media studies, or a related field
- Experience with content creation tools, analytics platforms, or social media management
- Interest in nonprofit, healthcare, or advocacy based organizations
Time Commitment
- Approximately 10 hours per week
