Volunteer Advisory-Level Nonprofit Visibility Strategist

The Animal Cause, Inc. is seeking a Volunteer Visibility Strategist to help us identify, claim, update, and optimize the platforms where donors, volunteers, companies, foundations, corporate sponsors, workplace giving programs, and grantmakers discover and evaluate nonprofits.

We are especially looking for someone familiar with nonprofit registration and visibility platforms such as Candid / GuideStar, Charity Navigator, GreatNonprofits, Benevity, YourCause / Blackbaud, CyberGrants / Bonterra, Deed, Double the Donation, Idealist, VolunteerMatch, Catchafire, Google for Nonprofits, YouTube Nonprofit, TechSoup, Canva for Nonprofits, and related corporate giving or volunteer platforms.

The first project would be a visibility audit for The Animal Cause, Inc.:

• where we are already listed;
• where profiles need to be claimed or updated;
• where we should register;
• which platforms support corporate matching gifts, workplace giving, volunteer recruitment, grants, or sponsorship discovery;
• what documents are needed;
• what profile language should be standardized;
• and what should be prioritized first.

The Animal Cause is a Christian animal-welfare nonprofit building infrastructure to help vulnerable animals move from being unseen, unsupported, unfunded, or unready into visible, supported, funded, and responsible pathways toward care.

This role is ideal for someone with nonprofit marketing, development, CSR platform, fundraising operations, grant research, digital strategy, or nonprofit tech experience.

Tasks will be defined, limited, and organized. We are building the first layer of visibility infrastructure.
