    Description

Bilingual Companion: give the gift of friendship to a hospice patient!

Heartland Hospice is looking for bilingual individuals in the Racine and Kenosha area to join our growing team of superstar volunteers!

Companion Volunteers enrich the lives of hospice patients in their area through regular visits by providing an additional level of care that the clinical side doesn’t necessarily always focus on-socialization and friendship! How your visits look is entirely up to you! Service hours are flexible and scheduled according to your availability and location. A visit may look like playing card games, watching a movie, enjoying a leisurely stroll, or even just engaging in lively conversation! YOU have the power to bring the greatest gift to our patient’s lives-a smile and reassurance that comes with knowing they are genuinely cared for.

If you have a little extra time to give and some extra room in your heart and life, call or email Heartland’s Volunteer Coordinator Charlotte today to learn more about our unique volunteer opportunities: charlotte.nuedlingko@heartlandhospice.com
