    Description

FoodCommune Volunteers for Weekly Food Distribution

Our food distribution days are usually SATURDAYS but please check the Facebook page every week as that may change! facebook.com/FoodCommune

We need help all day on Saturdays, from 10:00am-10:00pm. You can pick a shift or just come at any time, and stay as long as you like!

    Schedule:

10:00-12:00: set up, bring out food, sort/clean/organize food

12:00-7:00: food distribution time! Attendees come through and shop.

    7:00-10:00: packing up, cleaning up

8:00-9:00: free shopping time for gleaners

For your first time as a volunteer, it is best to come for the first shift so you can see how everything is set up, but if that doesn't work for you then any time is good :)

    1. If you are interested in loading and unloading food on Friday evenings, contact Pam Noud at pamnoud@gmail.com or 822.5685 that day, as the timing varies each week.

    4 shifts available:

    • Shift 1 - set up: 10:00 to 13:00 EST
    • Shift 2 - help run distribution: 13:00 to 16:00 EST
    • Shift 3: help run distribution: 16:00 to 19:00 EST
    • Shift 4: break down and clean up: 19:00 to 22:00 EST
