Cybersecurity Intern (Unpaid, CPT/OPT Eligible) – Remote

WoMen of Connections Ministry | Part-Time | Unpaid | Remote (U.S.-based preferred)

About Us:

Women of Connections Ministry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit empowering international and native-born citizens through mentorship, advocacy, and education. We're seeking a Cybersecurity Intern to support securing our systems and data.

Responsibilities:

Monitor cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities

Assist with security assessments and penetration testing

Implement security policies and ensure best practices

Research emerging threats and recommend mitigation

Maintain logs and collaborate with IT teams

Qualifications:

Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Cybersecurity or related degree program

Eligible for CPT or OPT

Familiar with cybersecurity principles, operating systems, networking, and cloud platforms

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Security certifications (CompTIA Security+, CEH) are a plus
