Compassus Hospice is seeking licensed massage therapists who are interested in volunteering their skills in a supportive, well-defined hospice setting.
Massage therapy in hospice focuses on gentle, comfort-based techniques intended to promote relaxation and ease physical tension. Sessions are guided by patient preference, medical appropriateness, and hospice care team coordination. This role is not rehabilitative or outcome-driven.
Volunteers provide care within clear boundaries and scope of practice, with full support from the hospice team. Scheduling is flexible, and frequency is determined collaboratively based on availability and patient needs.
This opportunity is well suited for massage therapists who value quiet, client-centered work and want to offer comfort in a meaningful but contained way.
Training, orientation, and ongoing guidance are provided.
