Position Summary
The HR Assistant Intern participates in a structured, hands-on learning experience focused on Human Resources administrative processes and organizational support within a supervised program environment.
This role provides exposure to HR documentation, recruitment coordination, onboarding processes, and internal HR workflows.
Participants may engage at different levels within this role based on the program’s tiered structure (Foundational, Intermediate, Advanced), depending on prior experience, engagement, and program needs.
Learning Focus Areas
Participants in this role will gain exposure to:
- HR administrative processes and documentation
- Recruitment and onboarding coordination
- HR data management and recordkeeping practices
- Employee engagement and internal HR initiatives
- Workplace communication and confidentiality practices
Program Activities
Participants may engage in:
- Assisting with HR documentation and record organization
- Supporting coordination of recruitment activities (e.g., interview scheduling, job postings)
- Assisting with resume review for learning purposes
- Supporting onboarding and training coordination
- Assisting with the maintenance of HR records and databases
- Participating in HR-related projects and process improvement initiatives
- Supporting employee engagement activities and internal programs
- Assisting with HR reporting and audit preparation (for learning purposes)
- Communicating questions or observations to program leadership
All activities are conducted within a supervised and guided learning environment.

Education / Background
