Make a difference, one hoofbeat at a time, by volunteering at an equine therapy center

Born 2 Be is a PATH Member Center dedicated to providing a hopeful, helpful and healthy environment to enhance the lives of people with disabilities and to encourage all those involved in becoming all they were born to be through the means of horseback riding and other equine-related activities.

The accomplishments we see at Born 2 Be cannot happen without our dedicated group of volunteers. Volunteers need to be 14 years of age. We are volunteer based relying on amazing people who generously give of their time to provide a hopeful, helpful, and healthy environment to see disabilities turn into possibilities every day. Our goal is also to ensure that our volunteers find their time valued, appreciated, rewarding and enjoyable. We could not achieve our mission without their generosity and kind hearts. Horse experience is not required.

Volunteers assist in our weekly classes serving as horse leaders or sidewalkers. Classes are Wednesday morning and afternoon/evening, Friday morning and Saturday morning. We also have a variety of one day projects and events that could benefit from volunteer assistance. Volunteers are also needed to serve as Volunteer Coordinator or serve on the Board of Directors or on working committees (i.e. fundraising, grantsmanship, newsletter, marketing).
