    Make a Direct Impact in Patient Support and Advocacy

    Turner syndrome affects 1 in every 2,000 females and is the second most common genetic condition in women. Individuals diagnosed with Turner syndrome require lifelong, specialized care and access to trusted resources.

    The Turner Syndrome Foundation is seeking dedicated volunteers to join our Client Services Team, supporting patients and caregivers through personalized communication, resource navigation, and compassionate guidance.

    This role is ideal for individuals pursuing or experienced in social work, counseling, psychology, healthcare, or nonprofit services who want meaningful, hands-on experience in client support.

    Position Summary

    As a Client Services Representative, you will provide direct support to individuals and families navigating Turner syndrome. You will communicate with clients, manage cases, and connect them to relevant medical, educational, and community resources.

    This is an on-site volunteer opportunity in Hazlet, NJ. Client interactions are conducted virtually (phone, email, web), but volunteers work from the office.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Provide client support via phone, email, and written correspondence
    • Manage client cases, including documentation and follow-up
    • Maintain detailed case notes and records
    • Research and share resources related to Turner syndrome care and support
    • Listen actively and respond with empathy and professionalism
    • Assist clients in navigating healthcare, education, and support systems
    • Collaborate with staff to ensure high-quality service delivery
    • Track tasks, schedule follow-ups, and ensure continuity of care

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Background or interest in social work, counseling, psychology, healthcare, or human services
    • Experience in client support, case management, or nonprofit services (preferred but not required)
    • Strong interest in patient advocacy and health education
