    Volunteers make Walk MS happen, and are the foundation of why Walk MS is the largest walking fundraising event in the country. Thank you for your consideration in volunteering to help end MS forever.

    All parking lots will be open except for the lot our Festival Event Site will be in

    View our Parking Map attached on this page. We recommend the first two parking lots you will see to your left upon getting past the toll entry station

    From I94W Northbound (Downtown Chicago)

      • On I94 - Continue onto US-41 N (signs for Waukegan)
      • Continue on US-41 N. Drive to W Des Plaines Dr in Libertyville Township
      • Keep left to continue on US-41 N/Skokie Valley Rd
      • Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto IL-137 S/Buckley Rd
      • Turn right onto W Des Plaines Dr - INDEPENDENCE GROVE FOREST PRESERVE Entrance
      • Turn right upon passing the entrance toll booth
      • We recommend filling the first two parking lots to your left
      • Our Festival Site will be on the right just a few hundred feet past this first parking lot
      • Parking is free regardless of residence county for all Walk MS attendees

    From The Lake Forest Area

      • Once on IL 176/Rockland Rd. until you hit Waukegan
      • Turn Right onto Waukegan
      • Use the Left two lanes to turn Left onto IL - 137 South / Buckley Road
      • Turn right onto W Des Plaines Dr - INDEPENDENCE GROVE FOREST PRESERVE Entrance
      • Turn right upon passing the entrance toll booth
      • We recommend filling the first two parking lots to your left
      • Our Festival Site will be on the right just a few hundred feet past this first parking lot
      • Parking is free regardless of residence county for all Walk MS attendees

    From Westbound (Grayslake, Mundelein etc.)

      • Head east on IL-137 N/Buckley Rd
      • Turn left onto W Des Plaines Dr - INDEPENDENCE GROVE FOREST PRESERVE Entrance
      • Turn right upon passing the entrance toll booth
      • We recommend filling the first two parking lots to your left
      • Our Festival Site will be on the right just a few hundred feet past this first parking lot
      • Parking is free regardless of residence county for all Walk MS attendees

    From I94E - Southbound (Wisconsin + North IL)

      • On I94 W - Take exit 10 for IL-21/Milwaukee Ave
      • Take a Slight right to merge onto IL-21 S/S Illinois Rte 21/Milwaukee Ave/S Riverside Dr
      • Continue on for 3.9 Miles
      • Use the left lane to turn left onto IL-137 N
      • Turn right onto W Des Plaines Dr - INDEPENDENCE GROVE FOREST PRESERVE Entrance
      • Turn right upon passing the entrance toll booth
      • We recommend filling the first two parking lots to your left
      • Our Festival Site will be on the right just a few hundred feet past this first parking lot
