    Description

    Help Q'damah Kip Foundation grow its impact as a Volunteer Fundraising Specialist.

    The Q'damah Kip Foundation is seeking a committed and proactive Volunteer Fundraising Specialist to support our fundraising efforts and help expand our impact in United States and Africa.

    At Q'damah Kip Foundation, we strive to eradicate poverty, we work to support women, youth & children and low income families through practical, dignity-centered initiatives in areas such as education, human services & social support, and community development.

    This volunteer role is ideal for someone with experience or strong interest in fundraising, donor outreach, grant research, sponsorship development, or nonprofit resource mobilization who wants to use their skills to support meaningful community work.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research grant, sponsorship, and donor opportunities aligned with Q'damah Kip Foundation's mission
    • Help identify potential individual, corporate, foundation, and community funding sources
    • Support the drafting of fundraising letters, sponsorship requests, and donor communications
    • Assist with developing fundraising strategies and campaigns
    • Help strengthen fundraising materials, messaging, and outreach approaches
    • Track prospects, submission deadlines, and follow-up actions
    • Contribute ideas for long-term fundraising growth and sustainability

    What We’re Looking For

    • Experience or interest in fundraising, grant research, donor relations, business development, or nonprofit development
    • Strong writing and communication skills
    • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
    • Passion for social impact, community development, supporting families, and change.
    • Experience with nonprofit fundraising or grant writing is an asset, but not required
