Description
Legislate for Life Foundation is seeking creative volunteers to help communicate public policy issues and community initiatives through social media. Volunteers will help develop engaging content that makes complex issues easier to understand, raises awareness about the organization's work, recruits new members for programs, and reaches new audiences. This role is suited to individuals interested in digital communications, content creation, design, and social media strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Develop ideas for social media posts, campaigns, and educational content.
- Create graphics, captions, short-form videos, and other digital materials.
- Help maintain a content calendar and coordinate posts across relevant platforms.
- Translate research findings and policy topics into accessible content.
- Promote organizational projects, initiatives, events, and opportunities.
- Monitor engagement and identify ways to improve content reach.
- Collaborate with the journalism, policy research, and outreach teams.
