Description
Purpose of this role: To assist Club staff with daily operations and support programming
throughout the day.
Program Duration: June 8 - August 21, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Commitment: 1 - 2 days per week for 10 weeks, any amount of hours per day. To maintain consistency, the day/time should be the same every week.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation, setup, and cleanup of daily activities and events
- Support program staff during educational, recreational, or enrichment sessions,
- including field trips
- Engage positively with participants and encourage involvement
- Help supervise participants and ensure program rules and safety guidelines are followed
- Assist with attendance tracking and basic administrative tasks
- Serve as a positive role model and ambassador for the program
- Complete Volunteer Onboarding process
- Notify Club Director when unable to attend during scheduled hours
Ideal Volunteer:
- 18+ years of age, or if a minor, accompanied by an adult/guardian
- Reliable and committed to volunteering on a weekly basis
- Passion for working with youth
- Can work in loud, fast-paced environments
- Sensitivity to cultural differences
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
