Seeking new members for the DYS Board of Directors

Board Volunteer Position:

DANBURY YOUTH SERVICES is looking for additional members for the Board of Directors. Members of the DYS Board of Directors are responsible for ensuring the agency upholds its mission, protects its resources, and functions in the best interest of the community. Members are expected to actively participate in organizational planning and decision-making by making sound and informed judgements and committing the time necessary to effectively contribute to and support board functions and activities. All members provide input, oversight and collaborative thinking.

The Board Meetings are held via Zoom at 5:30 pm on the fourth Monday of each month, ten months out of the year. Board members are also expected to work on a committee and serve as an ambassador of DYS by actively going out in the community and promoting our mission, programs, events and fundraising opportunities.
