    Description

Posterity International is seeking a highly organized and dependable Executive Assistant to work directly with the Executive Director and strengthen coordination, organization, and execution across a growing international nonprofit.

This is a high-trust, ongoing volunteer role offering substantial exposure to nonprofit leadership, organizational strategy, programs, partnerships, fundraising, communications, and day-to-day operations.

The Executive Assistant will help ensure that priorities move forward, deadlines are tracked, information remains organized, and follow-up does not fall through the cracks.

    What You'll Do

    • Support scheduling, correspondence, meeting preparation, and follow-up
    • Maintain trackers for organizational priorities, partnerships, applications, filings, and external commitments
    • Coordinate information and communication across teams and projects
    • Prepare agendas, meeting notes, briefing materials, and action items
    • Monitor deadlines and outstanding responsibilities
    • Organize documents and administrative systems
    • Support external communications and partnership coordination
    • Assist the Executive Director with administrative and strategic priorities

    Who We're Looking For

Strong candidates have excellent organization, time management, written communication, and professional judgment. Previous administrative, executive support, project coordination, operations, or nonprofit experience is helpful but not required.

Reliability is particularly important in this role. We're looking for someone who notices what needs attention, follows through without repeated reminders, communicates early when problems arise, exercises discretion with sensitive information, and can be trusted with important deadlines.

    What You'll Gain

This role provides direct exposure to nonprofit executive leadership and experience spanning organizational strategy, project management, partnerships, fundraising, programs, communications, and nonprofit operations.

For someone interested in nonprofit management, international development, organizational leadership, or executive operations, it offers an unusually broad view of how a growing international nonprofit functions behind the scenes.
