    Description

Do you enjoy taking clean, well-lit food photos—whether as a hobby or professionally?

Join us as a Volunteer Food Photographer supporting our Nutrition & Culinary Services team and help document our weekly medically tailored meals using a simple iPhone setup.

Your photos will support menu accuracy, nutrition education, and help clients clearly understand what they’re ordering, empowering them to choose meals that fit their health needs and preferences.

    What You’ll Do...

    • Photograph weekly medically tailored meals by diet type
    • Use a simple, consistent iPhone photo setup (lighting + background)
    • Capture packaging, plated entrée, and detail shots
    • Make basic edits (crop, brightness, clarity)
    • Upload and label images in our shared folder
    • Log basic details in the meal tracking spreadsheet

    You’re a Great Fit If You…

    • Love food photography and enjoy creating visually appealing images
    • Have an eye for composition, lighting, and detail
    • Are dependable, organized, and consistent
    • Can join us for at least one weekly 1–4 PM shift (more days are welcome!)

    Why This Role Matters...

    Your photos directly support:

    • Client education — helping clients clearly see what they’ll receive
    • Nutrition & menu accuracy
    • Program communication and quality tracking
    • A smoother, more dignified ordering experience
    • This is a meaningful, creative way to use your photography skills to support community health and client choice.

    What You’ll Gain

    • Portfolio quality food photography experience
    • Consistent, low pressure creative practice
    • Experience with a simple, repeatable photo workflow
    • The chance to meaningfully contribute to a mission driven nutrition program

Skills Needed: Basic photography skills and editing, computer skills and comfort with digital workflows, reliability and organizational skills
