Applicants must be passionate about empowering youth and attend monthly board meetings. Board members must be 18+. Youth ages 16–17 may apply separately for the Youth Advisory Board with parent/guardian permission.

About We Up Next Project
We Up Next Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth through leadership development, mentoring, financial literacy, education, life skills, and positive community experiences. We are seeking passionate and committed individuals to join our Board of Directors and help us expand our impact.
Board Member Responsibilities
- Attend monthly board meetings (virtual or in person)
- Help guide the organization's mission and long-term goals
- Assist with fundraising and donor outreach
- Build partnerships with schools, businesses, and community organizations
- Support youth events and programs throughout the year
- Serve as an ambassador for We Up Next Project

Board Positions Available
We are currently seeking volunteers to serve in the following leadership roles:
- Board Chair/President – Provides leadership and helps guide the organization's vision.
- Vice Chair/Vice President – Supports the Board Chair and leads in their absence.
- Secretary – Records meeting minutes and maintains board records.
- Treasurer – Oversees finances, budgets, and financial reporting.
- Fundraising Director – Helps secure donations, sponsorships, and grants.
- Marketing & Communications Director – Promotes programs through social media, newsletters, and community outreach.
- Community Partnerships Director – Builds relationships with schools, businesses, and community organizations.
