Volunteer Coordinator (Volunteer Position)

All About You Healthcare Advocates, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is seeking a compassionate, organized, and people centered Volunteer Coordinator to support our rapidly growing grassroots organization.

Our clinicians and volunteers are committed to serving underserved communities and vulnerable populations who face barriers to primary care and preventive health services. We work every day to promote health equity, improve health literacy, and connect individuals to the resources they deserve.

As our volunteer base expands, we are looking for someone who can help nurture, guide, and support our team so they can thrive in their roles.

Role Overview

The Volunteer Coordinator will oversee a small team of volunteers and play a key role in ensuring that every volunteer feels welcomed, supported, and equipped to contribute meaningfully to our mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the onboarding process for new volunteers, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
• Meet with volunteers biweekly via virtual meetings on an as needed basis to provide guidance, check in on progress, and offer support.
• Ensure volunteers have the tools, resources, and clarity they need to succeed in their roles.
• Maintain open communication with volunteers and help address questions, challenges, or training needs.
• Collaborate closely with AAYHA’s leadership team, who will provide ongoing support and direction.
• Help foster a positive, inclusive, and mission driven volunteer culture.

• Completion of AAYHA’s volunteer application and submission of a current résumé.
• A recent criminal background check or consent to have one completed prior to joining.
