    Patriotic Blankets of Love for Veteran Hospice Patients

    Compassus Hospice in N. Andover MA is looking for donations of handmade shawls and prayer shawls, fleece blankets and Afghans and quilts in red, white and blue and patriotic patterns. People typically find great comfort from a warm blanket or shawl. Imagine the joy you can bring to someone with a handmade gift made with love? Do you have the gift of knitting or crocheting? If making these items for people at the end of life speaks to your heart, then this may be the volunteer opportunity for you.
