About Beyond Emancipation

Beyond Emancipation is a nonprofit organization based in the Bay Area dedicated to supporting young people as they transition out of the foster care system. For over 30 years, we’ve walked alongside youth-many of whom face housing instability, poverty, and overwhelming systems-helping them build stable, independent lives.

We connect youth to vital resources like housing, education, employment, and health care, and we don’t just point the way-we stay with them through the process. From filling out housing applications to touring apartments and enrolling in school, our team ensures no young person has to navigate adulthood alone.
