Description
Event Volunteers needed for the 13th annual Walk-n-Wag at Minto Brown Island Park. This is a family-friendly dog walk to gather pet lovers and hospice supporters for a fun summer morning in the park. There will be vendors, carnival-themed activities, a trail walk, food trucks and raffle baskets. Funds raised are used to help Hospice patients keep their beloved pets with them as long as possible - through volunteer support and paying for pet expenses - and boarding and rehoming assistance when needed.
3 shifts available:
- Set up crew: Saturday July 25, 2026, 7-9 am PST
- Event support volunteers - assist with dog activities and hosting booths: Saturday, July 25, 2026, 9 am - noon PST
- Tear down and transport/unload equipment back to West Salem WVH office: Saturday July 25, 2026, 12-1:30 pm PST
