Description
As a hospice volunteer, you become a part of someone's life when you are needed most. The qualifications are simple: Have a caring heart and be sensitive to the needs of others. A strong sense of empathy is another important piece of helping patients during their illness. Volunteer opportunities include companionship, caregiver relief, pet therapy, musicians, hair styling, family support, office support, wellness calls and check ins.
