Event Volunteers – Bows Across Cultures Festival (June 13)

About the Event

Bows Across Cultures is a unique cross-cultural festival centered around traditional archery. The event brings together cultural elements from around the world, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Mongolian, and Native traditions, creating an engaging and educational experience for families and the community.

The event features a cultural corridor with exhibits and traditional attire, hands-on craft activities, interactive games, and stage performances. Our goal is to promote cultural understanding, community connection, and youth engagement through sports and cultural exchange.

Event Details

• Date: June 13
• Location: Bellevue City Hall, Bellevue, WA
• Volunteer Shift: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Event Hours: Approximately 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Volunteers are expected to arrive before the event for a brief orientation and setup, and stay through the end to support wrap-up if available.

Volunteer Roles

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support different areas of the event, including:

• Entrance / Check-in (welcoming guests and guiding flow)
• Cultural Corridor (assisting exhibits and visitor experience)
• Craft Activity Area (supporting hands-on activities for kids)
• Activity Zone – Games (helping run interactive games and ensuring safety)
• Stage Team (supporting performances and schedule coordination)
• Media / Photography (capturing event highlights)
• Floating Support (assisting where needed)
