    Description

Are you a healthcare professional or someone passionate about making a direct impact on the well-being of others? Join our Foot Care for the Souls program and help care for the most vulnerable in Greater Cincinnati. This unique program provides essential foot care, including cleaning, foot massages and distributing new socks and shoes to individuals experiencing homelessness and marginalization - people who often spend long hours on their feet.

Why Volunteer? As a volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a healthcare setting while building personal connections with those who need special care. Foot health is critical for those facing housing insecurity, and your work will make a significant difference in their daily lives.

    What You'll Do:

    • Provide basic foot care under the guidance of a senior registered nurse
    • Offer foot massages and help distribute new socks and shoes
    • Learn essential skills from experienced medical professionals

Training and Support: You don't need prior medical experience - comprehensive training will be provided during your first sessions, ensuring you're comfortable and confident before caring for clients independently. An experienced nurse practitioner oversees the program and is available for support and additional guidance.

    Details:

    • When: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 PM - 6:15 PM

This is a meaningful way to gain real-world healthcare experience while serving the community. We welcome volunteers who are passionate about health and making a difference!
