🌿 Volunteer Opportunity with Agape Hospice Care – Jonesboro 🌿
Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community?
Agape Hospice Care is seeking compassionate volunteers to provide companionship to our patients in the Jonesboro area.
Whether you’re a college student needing volunteer hours, an empty nester, retired, or simply someone who enjoys helping others — this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
💜 No healthcare experience required.
Our volunteers do not provide hands-on care — just heartfelt companionship. Spend time talking, reading, coloring, watching TV, or simply being present with our terminally ill patients.
Volunteer Requirements:
- Complete an application
- Consent to a background check (we cover the cost)
- TB test (we cover the cost)
- Complete 9 training modules
- Attend an in-person orientation
Just one hour per week can make a world of difference — and you’ll become an integral part of our caring team.

We are an "in-home" hospice company, we go to where our patients live, be it a private home, assisted living center, memory care, or nursing home. there is travel involved.
How to Volunteer for This Opportunity
To be considered as a volunteer, the following steps must be completed:
- Fill out a volunteer application.
- Sign a consent form for a background check (we cover the cost).
- Complete a TB test (two-step process): You’ll need to return for a follow-up to have your TB spot read. We offer this for free at our office.
- Complete 9 online training modules.
- Attend an in-person orientation.
Once all steps are completed, we’ll match you with a patient.
